My name is Michael Withers. The 2024 - 2025 school year will be my 10th year teaching overall and my 5th year teaching at Slauson. I will be teaching MATH 6 and Grade 8 Math for the 2024 - 2025 year. I believe that all students can be successful mathematicians!

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 and received my Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Michigan - Dearborn in 2019.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and attending Michigan athletic events, especially football, ice hockey, and softball. #GoBlue
